It is made from 100% recycled cotton yarns, from the surplus of major clothing brands.
In a committed and responsible manufacturing process, the fouta's braids are hand-knotted by craftswomen wishing to contribute to their household's income. The Terry plain fouta is then placed in recycled and recyclable packaging and shipped in a compostable envelope.

How to Wash your foutas?
Wash your fouta once at 30° before using it for the first time. It will not fade, so you can mix it with your household linen.
Then wash it at 30° and let it air dry. This will preserve the handmade fringes.
Your fouta will become softer and more absorbent with each wash.
An embroidered fouta can be cared for in the same way as a fouta without embroidery.
