What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay for your purchases via the following payment methods: 

- Credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard)

- PayPal

How can I track the status of my order?

After validating and paying for your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that contains a link allowing you to track the status of your order.

You will then receive an e-mail with a tracking link as soon as your order is shipped.

I made a mistake during my order (delivery address, product modification), what should I do?

You can contact us at [email protected] specifying your order number.
Our customer service team will get back to you within 2 hours, Monday to Friday.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order if it has not yet been dispatched. To do so, please send us an e-mail as soon as possible to [email protected]

DELIVERY

What delivery methods do you offer?

You have the possibility to choose among 4 delivery methods:

- Delivery in 1 working day (if ordered before 12:00) via Chronopost

- Home delivery with signature within 3 working days via colissimo

- Delivery within 3 working days to a collection point via Mondial Relay

- Standard home delivery within 3 working days via colissimo or GLS

What are your delivery costs?

In Metropolitan France, delivery is free in a parcel relay whatever the amount of your order. It is also free at home from 39€ of purchase. Below this amount, the standard home delivery without signature is 3,90€ and 5,90€ with signature.

Count 10€ for any express order, whatever the amount of the order.

In other EU countries, standard home delivery is free for orders over €49. Below this amount, home delivery costs €4.90. Express home delivery costs €12.

In Switzerland, the standard delivery at home or in a parcel relay is offered from 49€ of purchase, and from 6,90€ below this amount.

For French overseas departments and territories and the rest of the world, delivery is free for orders over €300, and costs €18 for orders under €300. 

When will you ship my order?

It depends on when you placed your order:

- If you place your order before 12:00 noon, from Monday to Friday, your order will be shipped the same day

- Between Monday and Thursday, after 12:00, your package will be shipped the next day

- Between Friday after 12am and Sunday midnight, the package will be shipped on Monday

- If you place an order on a holiday, it will be shipped the next business day

Please note that for personalized products with embroidery, you have to add 48h to 72h to these shipping times.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once your order is shipped :

For France, it takes 2 to 3 days for a delivery in a relay point or at home and a delivery at D+1 at home before 6pm via Chronopost (if the order is placed before 12pm)  

For the other countries of the EU, count 3 days for a delivery via Mondial Relay, between 3 and 5 days for a delivery at home and 2 to 3 days for an express delivery at home.

For the DOM-TOM and the rest of the world, count between 3 and 7 days for a delivery at home.

What countries do you deliver to?

We deliver worldwide.

FEEDBACK AND EXCHANGES

Do you accept returns?

If you are not satisfied with a product purchased on BY FOUTAS, you can return it to us within 30 days after receiving your order, in its original packaging, new and unwashed. We will proceed, within 14 days after receipt and verification of the return, to the exchange or refund of your product, at your convenience.

Can I return a personalized product with embroidery?

Personalized products are neither returned nor exchanged. Please make sure to check your order when you validate it.

Do I have to pay for the return shipping?

Returns are free of charge in Metropolitan France and at your expense for the rest of the world.

What is the procedure for making a return?

To initiate a return request, please send us an e-mail to [email protected]specifying your order number. You can also fill in our contact form in the section Contact us.

THE FOUTAS

Where are the foutas made BY FOUTAS ?

The foutas are woven in Tunisia in a family cooperative with 100% recycled cotton yarns (without chemical additives) designed from the surplus of international clothing brands.

The fringes are hand-knotted by Tunisian craftswomen who work from home and thus support their households.

By buying a fouta BY FOUTAS you support a fair trade and eco-responsible approach.

Can I customize a fouta BY FOUTAS ?

You have the possibility to have all the fouta models sold on our website embroidered. Cécile, a professional embroiderer at BY FOUTAS will take care of your personalization from her workshop based in France.

3 embroidery fonts are available, for 20 characters maximum and without emojis or special characters.

The customization fee is 12€ per embroidered fouta, and it takes 5 to 6 business days to receive it if you choose this option.

How to maintain my fouta ?

The foutas are made in an artisanal way.

We advise you to wash your fouta before the first use, and to privilege the washings to 30° with drying to the open air to preserve its fibres and its fringes.

Your fouta evolves over time: it will become softer and more absorbent with each wash.

Whatever the color, BY FOUTAS foutas will not fade, so you can mix them with your household linen or clothing.

The use of a tumble dryer or fabric softener is strongly discouraged.

An embroidered fouta can be maintained in the same way as a fouta without embroidery.

PERSONALIZATION

What kind of text can I embroider on my fouta ?

You can personalize your fouta with text using the Latin alphabet (maximum 20 characters), without emoticons or special characters.

Please note that the UPPERCASE font does not have accents.

Where will the embroidery be placed on my fouta?

It depends on the model of fouta that you want to customize:

Fouta flat weave or fouta XXL Classic the embroidery will be centered, in the white band at the bottom of the fouta 

Fouta honeycomb Embroidery centered in the striped part at the bottom of the fouta 

Cyclades Sponge Fouta or fouta herringbone Embroidery centered in the colored band at the bottom of the fouta 

Plain Terry Fouta Embroidery centered in the lower part of the fouta, about 30 cm from the bottom of the fouta

Fouta XXL Arthur: embroidery centered between the fringes and the last white band, on the lower part of the fouta 

Fouta XXL Lurex : embroidery centered between fringes and lurex bands, on the lower part of the fouta 

Fouta mariniere : embroidery centered between the fringes and the last colored band, on the lower part of the fouta 

What color will the embroidery be on my fouta?

The color of the embroidery varies depending on the fouta chosen:

Fouta flat weave, fouta XXL Classic, fouta honeycomb or fouta mariniere : tone on tone

Fouta Eponge Cyclades, fouta herringbone, Fouta XXL Arthur, fouta Lurex or fouta XXL Lurex : white or off-white (exception : mustard color golden effect on the golden white fouta Lurex and pearl gray color on the silver white fouta Lurex)

Fouta terry Unie: for duck blue, ocean and fir green foutas, pearl grey embroidery. For the powder pink, sahara and olive foutas, off-white embroidery 

What will be the size of the embroidery on my fouta ?

The height of the embroidery varies between 2.5cm and 4cm, depending on the fouta model, the font chosen and the length of the message
